SYNOPSIS​

Checks if full scan of removable drives is enabled in Microsoft Defender Antivirus policies

SYNTAX​

Test-MtMdeRemovableDriveScanning [[-ComplianceLogic] <String>] [[-PolicyFiltering] <String>]
 [-ProgressAction <ActionPreference>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION​

Verify that full scan of removable drives is enabled to mitigate USB risks. Disabled removable drive scanning allows USB-based malware infections.

EXAMPLES​

Returns true if all assigned Defender AV policies have removable drive scanning enabled.

-ComplianceLogic​

Determines how policy compliance is evaluated. 'AllPolicies' requires every assigned policy to be compliant; 'AnyPolicy' requires at least one. Default: 'AllPolicies'.
